• Why are the times that I am trying to book not available, and what can I do about it?

Answer: There are many reasons the time you are trying to book may not be available.  First, each appointment type (color, cut and highlight) takes a specific amount of time to complete.  If there is not enough time to complete your service before another client's appointment, the system will not show any availability to you for that service type at that date or time. Second, your time may just not be available due to other bookings or stylist availability.  Our system suggests the first available day and time that will fit your selected service or services. If that time does not work for you, we recommend that you select the next day that will, and see if there is a time that will work for you. While we can sometimes take same day appointments, our system works on a first come first service basis so we recommend booking your next appointment a few weeks prior to your desired time for optimal selection.

  • What are the benefits to me, the client, of booking online instead of just calling?

Answer: There are many benefits to you; first you can book an appointment at any time, early morning, or late at night for just the right time without the need to call your stylist.  Second, our online booking system now sends out confirmation emails (or texts if you activate them) as well as reminders. Third, you'll be able to keep track of past appointments, and change or cancel your appointments online (per our salon policy guidelines).  Finally, we'll be able to notify you of salon announcements, specials, or just confirm appointment changes with you, all through email.

  • What notifications or emails can I expect from booking online?

Answer: When booking any appointment or if we book your appointment for you and have your email address on file:

    1. You will receive an acknowledgement of your appointment immediately after scheduling online.
    2. In general, 24 hours before your appointment, you will receive a reminder.
    3. If you booked more than 72 hours out, you will receive a confirmation email at the 72 hour mark asking you to click on the included link to auto confirm your appointment time. (non-confirmed appointments may be canceled to make time available for other clients)
    4. Pending appointment approval notifications, if applicable (see below).

Please note, that all clients booking their first appointment online, or anyone with more than 1 late or canceled appointment, without proper notification, will have their appointment put into a pending status upon booking.  Your stylist must approve this appointment date/time.  Once approved you will receive a notification that your appointment has been approved and is on the books.

You can also enable SMS text message notifications by entering your cell phone number, your cell provider (ie. ATT, Verizon, etc) and enabling this option.  Just entering your cell phone number does not enable text notifications.

  • I'm not receiving your emails, what should I do?

Answer: Please add stacy@adayatthepeach.com to your email system/provider's white list or safe senders list.  Most likely our emails are being directed to your SPAM filter.  The other issue could be that we or you entered your email address/user name incorrectly.

  • How do I book multiple services for the same appointment time?

Answer: If you'd like to book two services together such as a Hair Cut and Wax.  First Select the Hair Cut appointment type that is most appropriate for you. The system will find the first available date. On that screen, you can add additional services, select the wax appointment you would like, and then click the find/search button again.  The system will find the best time where both services can be completed.  Please note that there are already combo appointment types for cuts, colors, highlights, all of which include a blow dry and style.

  • What should I do if the appointment time I need isn't available, or if I have trouble booking?

Answer: In general, all availability is shown online, but in some cases we can manually double book you.  If your appointment need is urgent, you absolutely cannot find a time that will work for you, or you just are having trouble booking online please call and leave a message (707-540-4774) and we'll get back to you as soon as we can; usually within 24 hours.

  • Why can't I book an appointment with other stylists online?

Answer: Each Hair Stylist at A Day at the Peach Hair Studio may choose whatever methods they feel work best for their clients and their own schedules

  • Who is this Vagaro company that I see on your emails?

Answer: Vagaro is a company that provides the online booking services to A Day at the Peach Hair Studio.  Booking, appointment scheduling, and emails are processed on their computer systems.

  • I don't have internet access, or I'm having trouble booking, can I still book by phone?

Answer: Sure! While most people appreciate the convenience booking on their own, we never want to sacrifice our ability to serve you. If you're just having trouble, let us know and on your next appointment we'll book your follow online together before you leave so you can see just how easy it is.
